The BlueFit Learn to Swim program at Lane Cove Aquatic Centre is specifically designed for children, with experienced and friendly swimming instructors guiding your child through their journey.

BlueFit Swimming focuses specifically on water confidence and the basic skills of swimming. It strongly emphasizes developing children’s safety and confidence in water.

Swim Development Australia

Swim Development Australia provides safe and practical swimming lessons at their indoor heated ozone pool in Greenwich and mobile classes at home or ocean pools in the Eastern Suburbs, South Sydney, North Sydney and Inner West.

SDA offers a variety of classes with accredited Austswim/Swim Australia Instructors for adults and children. They are a registered NDIS Swim school, and all their instructors are fully trained and equipped in CPR and appropriate qualifications for their classes.

Their boutique 15-metre indoor pool is heated to 32°C. This ozone pool (bromine, not chlorine) is excellent for sensitive skin and asthmatics. Only one or two classes are held at a time.

Turramurra Learn to Swim (Turramurra)

Turramurra Learn to Swim has been running a Learn-to-Swim program for babies, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults since 1981. Each class is half an hour in duration. The small children feel secure, and the older children can develop their strokes and techniques with a teacher in the water who provides encouragement and correction.

Their swimming lessons provide your child with lifelong skills and water safety techniques, giving you and your child confidence around the water. Their pool water is crystal clear, and their reception area is air-conditioned for your comfort. Weekly swimming lessons, as are Holiday Intensive Swimming Programs, are offered throughout the term.

The enclosed, specially designed-teaching pool is heated to at least 32.5ºC all year. This provides an ideal environment and pool space for teaching swimming. Warm water is particularly important for parent and baby classes and relaxes children who may not be confident.

At United Swimming, all its pools are indoor and heated all year round. Its Wahroonga Centre consists of a larger competition pool (25m or 50m in length) for more advanced swimmers (squads) and a 32-degree heated learn-to-swim pool with custom depths and ledges specifically for the United Swimming programs.

Loreto offers a year-round, six-day squad program for male and female swimmers from the local community. The squad program offers options for swimmers at all levels and aims to support each swimmer’s development.

Their purpose-built swim development facility is located on the beautiful grounds of Loreto Normanhurst and consists of a 25m heated, indoor eight-lane swimming pool.
